Deadly Ponies

There’s a lot of Day of the Dead inspiration going around. Whether it’s the delicious Mexican food that seems to be overtaking Melbourne, Day of the Dead inspired homewares – think mirrors, Frida Kahlo, skeletons, bunting and throws, all in bright bold colours – or an overall aesthetic that’s popping up in the streets and in fashion.

Doing the trend justice is Deadly Ponies. Keeping it simple, stylish and perfectly consistent with their Spring/Summer Collection, Senorita Bandits, Deadly Ponies gets it right, again.

They describe Senorita Bandits as drawing influences from Latino girl gangs. The collection pays homage to the chola aesthetic and true Southern California style, complete with tattoos, bandanas, and alligator skin. Featuring pastel colours in yellow, pink and grey, the collection includes designs of renowned tattoo artist, Stefan Sinclair. A collection set to turn girls against each other…

Sounds like the perfect range for hustlers. We’ve been a fan of this New Zealand brand since their beginnings and this collection does not disappoint.
